Who we are
FPL Shrine (fplshrine.com) is run by Offload Studio, a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of any personal data described here. Contact: hello@fplshrine.com.
What we collect
Things you enter in the tool
Nothing. Your players, chips, drafts and results are handled entirely in your browser and are never sent to us. They appear in the page address (for example ?mode=players&a=12&b=411) so refresh and the back button work. If you use "Share the verdict", that address is what you share, so anyone you send it to will see those choices.
Technical data
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is standard for any website.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't track you across other sites. We only see totals, such as page views and countries.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix any problem you report.
Why we use it (legal bases)
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) we rely on legitimate interests: running and securing the website, understanding how it is used in aggregate, and replying to people who contact us. We don't use your data for marketing and we don't sell it.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security and analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Our email provider, to receive and store messages you send us.
Cloudflare may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, it relies on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Advertising
FPL Shrine does not show adverts at the moment. If we add advertising in future (for example Google AdSense), we will update this policy first, and in the UK and EEA we will ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set.
How long we keep it
- Emails: as long as needed to deal with your message, and then deleted within 12 months.
- Analytics: aggregate figures only, kept by Cloudflare under its own retention policy.
- Security logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its own policy.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. Email hello@fplshrine.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
FPL Shrine is not aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
